I don’t promise enlightenment or wisdom. I don’t promise the secret formula for success and happiness. I do promise to share my story of a life set apart from the mainstream, a solitary path that I resisted for many years but have grown to cherish. Solitude made me stronger. Art and nature gave me meaning. I learned to celebrate my differences. I stopped trying to please others and began to please myself. I hope my experiences will help others who struggle to find a place in a difficult world. Life is short and sometimes brutal so be true to yourself, laugh as much as possible, enjoy the little things and above all, don’t let the bastards grind you down. I will be back…

The Purple Hermit 
Finally the beginning! I started my own blog in June 2017. 265 followers is kind of pathetic, but I only have 6. I delete robots and phony followers and followers who never ever visit my blog and followers who piss me off. That would add up to, maybe, 10-12. Lately I’ve been trying to “create” followers with mild success, just for shits and giggles. My true desire from the very first was twofold. To find out if the MMP and the GO MAGA! game were marketable. The weren’t. And to leave something instructive and entertaining for one person who may not even be born yet and may not even read any of my material until after I go. I’m not supposed to care, but of course I do. I’m working on it. Good morning Nikita!

I can’t be bothered to chase followers. Many people don’t even read a post properly, they just ‘like’ it so you will reciprocate. In many ways my blog is more for myself as it stops me disconnecting from the world entirely and like you say, it’s a kind of legacy. It’s always satisfying though when people thoroughly read my work and comment as you have done. Then it all seems worthwhile. Even if it’s just one person who truly gets your work then that’s a success as far as I’m concerned. I think you may be the only person to scroll down to the first post I ever wrote.
